Bespoke cyanotype designs
Cyanotyping is a printing process that produces a cyan-blue print. The technique was first developed in the 19th century as a simple and practical means of producing copies of drawings, diagrams and blueprints. Artists today are returning to the process and using it to create striking and awe-inspiring works of art.

The method:
I apply a mixture of chemicals to watercolour paper, which is carried out in a dark room. Once the paper has dried, negatives and objects can be placed on top of the print, which is placed in the sun to allow for exposure. The prints are then washed in water and toned in a number of different ways.
